Joanne Holland Adv. Dip. Couns. Cert. Couple. Couns. MBACP
I have over 15 years of experience as a Professional Counsellor working in private practice and within the NHS.
At times life can feel unmanageable, even overwhelming and we struggle to cope. Sometimes we just need some time to ourselves, to reflect on our lives in a space where we won't be judged. Sadly many of us struggle with this as our thoughts become negative and undermine us; put simply we can have a 'Bad relationship with ourself'. Counselling can help you understand this is and help you find a newer inner voice, that is supportive, kinder, more compassionate and a much nicer friend to you.
ABOUT ME:
I provide counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and work within their code for good practice. I attend regular professional training. I am Insured.
My experience of working within the primary care trusts (NHS) 'Counselling and Psychology services' has given me a wealth of experience of working with a wide range of issues within G.P's practices; with Anxiety and Depression being one of the most common complaints people are experiencing today. As well as my varied experience of working within the NHS, I have worked for the 'Weald of Kent Hospice' with bereaved families and also with adult men at the 'Kenward Trust' in Yalding Kent.
I have a small private practice in Ditton, Aylesford where I am able to offer both brief and longer term counselling.
I work from an Air Conditioned Office, Parking is available.
